What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the website remember your preferences and enable core functionality like keeping you logged in.

Cookies We Use

Company Shark uses a minimal number of cookies, all of which are essential or functional. We do not use any third-party tracking or analytics cookies.

Cookie Type Purpose Duration
PHPSESSID Essential PHP session cookie used for authentication. Keeps you logged in as you navigate between pages. Required for the site to function. Browser session (deleted when you close your browser)
remember_token Functional Persistent login cookie. Only set if you tick "Remember me" when logging in. Allows you to stay logged in across browser sessions. 30 days

Third-Party Cookies

Company Shark does not currently set any third-party tracking, advertising, or analytics cookies. If this changes in the future, we will update this policy and notify users accordingly.

Note: When you interact with the Stripe payment system during checkout, Stripe may set its own cookies for fraud prevention and security purposes. These are governed by Stripe's Cookie Policy.

Managing Cookies

You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings. Here's how to manage cookies in common browsers:

  • Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data
  • Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
  • Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data
  • Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Cookies and site data

Please note: Blocking or deleting the session cookie (PHPSESSID) will prevent you from logging in and using the Service. The remember-me cookie can be safely blocked if you prefer to log in manually each visit.
